These aren't quite the greatest pictures, but they go along with my Wordless Wednesday (photos of baby B having fun tearing apart the visor part of her car seat).
I've been pretty disgruntled with this car seat for a while now. Ever since B started realizing she could tear things apart and put them in her mouth... she discovered that there was a stash of fuzz on the underside of the fabric on the car seat.

Now baby B is quite the fuzz connoisseur, so imagine her delight at finding such a stash! The first time she got a chunk of it and started choking on it I was going to get some duct tape and fix it up. But then I realized that the entire backing was that way, so I didn't want to ruin the car seat. Anyway, just prior to her destruction of the visor, I had to pull over and fish fuzz out of her mouth. And of course when we got home and I took the photos of her, there she is trying to hand me a chunk of fuzz that would have made it to her mouth had I not been standing right there.
Needless to say, I went out the very next day and bought a new car seat! And I made sure that this one's fuzz was better contained! :)

OMG - I can't believe this - my daughter did the same exact thing! It freaked me out - I thought she was gong to choke to death!
My daughter liked fuzz as well. She used to pull it off of one particular blanket and put the bits to her nose to feel. One particular church nursery worker noticed this and crocheted her some little egg shaped fuzz stuffed ...thingys. Anyway, she would walk around with these touching her nose. She is now 20 and she still covets a small piece of the blanket that is left. (Wants to preserve it for her future child!) Great post!
I've always believed that if you want to test the durability of something, hand it to a kid. They can find the weak spot in anything.
kids are such little "pickers".
cute pics!
Mateo used to suck on long stringy things, oh, such as a strings of yarn from a stuffed lion's tail. He started to choke in the car, and I too had to do the pulling over thing to rescue my child. He had thrown up a little from it too. I removed all long strings from toys after that.
Kids with their fuzz and string and just about everything!
I'm sitting here just shaking my head, smiling! Oh that's just so hilarious (for me, probably not you .. yet)! :)
How much do I LOVE that you took pictures of this rather than getting mad? I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!
And I love the look on her face when she's handing you the fuzz...like she knows you are going to thank her for being so nice and sharing....perfect!
That stinks that you had to replace the carseat. They definitely are not cheap things to replace. Stinker.
That's a scary way to get more fiber in her diet. Yikes!
I'm glad all I have to do is keep Pascal out of the room when I cut M.'s hair so he won't eat it.
What a cutie! We called the older daughter 'Hoover' because everything went in her mouth. I don't recall fuzz being a favorite though... great photostory!
Kids have find anything to get into, can't they?
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog the other day ~ I really enjoyed hearing from you!

That's crazy and dangerous! The seat should have been made better so that inquiring fingers could do that. Glad that you got a new one.
