Teething Times Three and An Award!

Well, Baby B's first 5 teeth came in with very little problems. She was just a tad fussier than normal (which isn't much at all). She actually got her first two teeth right in the middle of our move in March, while we were spending a week in a motel. It was amazing that she wasn't too bothered by her first teeth. (D on the other hand, was very fussy with his first four or five, then not so much after that).

But this week? Baby B is sprouting 3 new teeth all at once! She's getting two in the middle on the sides up top and one in the middle/side of the bottom. The poor baby has been quite fussy and clingy. And angry ;)

We have finally worked it down to nursing only in the middle of the night... and she's been really good and only waking up once, sometimes twice a night - and usually not until 3 or 4. But last night? She was up at midnight, 1, 2, 4 and 5.

This teething business sucks. And 3 at once? Poor baby!

But I am glad that she's finally getting her bigger teeth in. She'll be able to chew some foods better. She is my good eater, and she's starting to get a little frustrated with being fed. She's ready to go it on her own. And there are so few "toddler" foods in the baby food aisle. But once these teeth come in we can probably start giving her more of what the rest of the family is eating. I know she will be digging that!

And check out this award from Crackerjacks at Izzy 'N Emmy! And now, I need to figure out who to pass it on to! All they need to do is leave the following message on their post when they pass the award on to their chosen eight blogger buddies.

“These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.”

1. Nut Nut of Nutty Tales
2. Kelli of Gohn Crazy
3. Tina of Life in the Lapadula House
4. Lisa's Chaos
5. While the Baby Sleeps
6. Simply AnonyMOM
7. Holly from Tropic of Mom
8. Jenn of I Hate Whine

It's always hard to pick JUST 8 or 5 or however many the award says!! There are just toooooo many good blogs out there!!

Lack of sleep sucks. Teething sucks. I remember AJ teethed great, baey phased him. KJ on the other hand was the worst and was horrible from the very very eginning until the tooth was completely in, oy vey it was bad.

Hopefully it passes quickly for you.

Thank you for the award! I feel so loved.

Ahhhhh...teething! Mateo always surprised me with his new teeth - I never knew until they were popping through. Until the molars. Ugh. That poor kid suffered for those molars.

Thanks for the award!! : ) I have to figure out how to get a right side to my blog so I can start posting them (I almost put "showing them off" but then that kinda went against the point of the award, so I changed it...). One of these days I'll dig into my blog code and play with it. You're the best!

Teething is the worst. Hope she gets through it quickly. :) Thanx for passing on the award to me! Congrats! You are so deserving!

Well I figure with teething the more they get at once then the less they have to go through it so come on teeth! She'll definitely be happy to be able to grub on the rest of the family's food though. Yay! :)

Thanks so much for the award. Now to find out exactly what it says. *L* ;)

I hope they come in soon! Tripp only has 4 teeth on the bottom. That's it! He's been gnawing and fussy for a couple of weeks now, and I wondering if the top teeth are *ever* going to come in. I'm beginning to think I should ask his doctor. What do you think?

@ Suzie: You know you are one of my absolute favorites :) I just thought you were getting bogged down with too many awards ;)

@ Wendy: They will come in eventually. D's took forever too! He got his top two and bottom two and then I kept waiting for him to get the ones closest to those - then one day he laughed and opened his mouth wide and I notice he had some on the top middle/sides! They came in w/out any fussing. So check back there :)

@ Nut Nut: I finally went to a 3-column template due to all the widgets and such... but what a chore! Be sure to copy and paste everything you have into a text document first... even then, its sooo time consuming! I really want to change my layout, but don't want to waste a whole day doing it! :)

Aw, thank you! I can't believe this. Sheesh, I didn't even pay you. I will see if I can pass it on.

Hugs....
